Lovely house in the most perfect location - not only for the pebble beach and the Old Neptune but the amazing sunsets too. I think the house would be a tight squeeze for 6 people - the top floor bedrooms are very small with a low ceilings and it would be a squeeze in the cosy lounge and around the kitchen table for more than 4 adults. WhitstableRead more is a lovely town full of friendly locals and there was no shortage of places to eat. Everywhere is easy to walk or if you want to go further a field and explore the other coastal towns and leave your car at home, the train is very easy. Hide

We had a really good time at the Old Vines Cottage. It's in a fabulous location, on a beach, next to a lovely pub, within walking distance of the harbour and all that it has to offer. The whole place is dog friendly. The owners of the cottage left us a doggy towel and poo bags which was a really nice thing to do. A very attractive cottage in an unrivalled location with the amazing benefit for Whitstable in having on site parking. Kitchen was well equipped and the living room quite snug but comfortable. Bedrooms all very attractively furnished, but note limited headroom which is clearly shown in the photographs for the two upper floor bedrooms. Apart from the points mentioned for improvement, we had a wonderful time and would come back. The cottage is small but very clean, cosy and perfectly located. The bedrooms and shower room were great and having a second toilet was a real benefit.

Lovely, comfortable, snug cottage in a fabulous location and with the added benefit of a parking space. Right on the beach and a few mins walk from the main hub of the town. Would definitely stay again.
