Entering this charming property, you will find a light-filled lounge which is a perfect space to unwind in, with plenty of seating, a traditional wood burner and a TV/DVD so you can snuggle up and enjoy a movie. There’s also a bright and relaxing bespoke kitchen/diner – also with a wood burner – which is an ideal space for sharing your favourite meals. Steep and narrow cottage-style stairs lead up to the first floor, where there are two cosy double bedrooms. Further steep stairs lead up to the second floor which features a twin bedroom with a TV and a selection of children’s toys. Stepping outside there’s a fully enclosed garden with a large lawn, swing ball for children and a choice of garden furniture with a BBQ so you can enjoy lazy afternoons in the sun.
The historic town of Whitstable is known for its fantastic seafood, particularly the oysters which are brought in via the harbour. The town has a regular Oyster Festival and there’s a wide range of pubs, restaurants and shops for you to discover. There’s a lovely shingle beach and plenty of great walks and bike trails, with Herne Bay (6 miles) close by. Heading inland you can visit the cathedral city of Canterbury (6.5 miles), Howletts Wild Animal Park (13 miles) or the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (11 miles).
